~Disaster's Guide to 5 Easy Steps of taking and posting a Picture~

Okay, here, I'm going to guide you on how to take a screen shot, and then post a IMG on the forum.

STEP ONE

First, make sure you have a key on your keyboard that looks like the red boxed key:


If you have a Vista Computer, or don't have one, follow this guide here.

STEP TWO

Now, I know what your thinking..
"Prt Scr? Doesn't that mean Print Screen? I don't want that!"

Well, it isnt, what it actually does is COPIES the screen, so you can PASTE it elsewhere.

So go to whatever you want to take a picture of, and press that button!


So what your going to do is, open up your picture editing software, MSPaint is fine, it comes on almost all of the Microsoft Computer systems.

Then, your going to click the 2nd tab, which is called ''Edit'', from there, click "Paste".
If you can't paste it for some reason, try pressing the Prt Scr button again.

Once you have pasted, it should appear on the screen like so:


Now, edit it to your liking, perhaps crop it to make a smaller, neater looking image?

STEP THREE

Okay, so you've edited the crap out of your picture, and your ready to save it. Well, I'm hoping you know how to save it, so File>Save As..>.

Now save it to wherever you can get to it again.

You are ready to post it on the forum or wherever.

Easier, Alternative way for STEP THREE
On the client, there is a screenshot button, just click that and it saves a picture, do step TWO (editing).

You can find it in the client folder by going MicroScape Client V1>User>Screenshots

STEP FOUR

Now, there are plenty of websites that do this, but tinypic is very easy.

So, go to http://tinypic.com/
Then click the browse button and click your image that you saved.
Now, unless you want to be fancy, you dont have to type anything else.

Just hit that "UPLOAD NOW!" button as shown below:


Once that is done, this should pop-up:


STEP FIVE

Okay, take that code that is highlighted in red, and paste it in your new topic you are making/post like so:



And there you have it, folks! 5 easy steps to taking and posting a picture on the forum!

or just click the screenshot button on top of the client. the screenshot gets in the map: screenshots, that is in the microscape map.
