This could be all due too lag.

I get lag sometimes but its not the server try closing things off you computer when not using them press alt + ctrl and del (same time) and close somethings that are open like i close my camera on my computer and a few more things like msn and internet when there not being used and it work's for me. Maybe mike could make a more detailed explanation on the reason if its not due too lag.

I do not get what your saying? Most the time black screen is due to null.
